Water leak detection – the new device LEAK FINDER

FWT Franz Water Technology is presenting the LEAK FINDER, a new instrument for leak detection on water pipelines.

with the listening rod pipelines can be checked for leak noises
with the magnetic adapter noises of incoming water can be heard on fittings and valves
with the 3-leg-pedestal leak noises on the ground can be localized

The radio transmission from the device to the headphones over a distance up to 10 meters is possible without a loss of quality. Both hands are free. Due to the low price this device can be afforded by small water suppliers as universal leak detection instrument or as additional device always ready to use. A test unit can be ordered.

Universal Device for Water Leak Detection

Franz Water Technology has further developed the W.A.S. Waterloss Analysis System. The version „Combi“ does now include not only a high-class correlator but can also be used as data logger for

flow measurements for the determination of momentary water losses by recording the minimum night inflow

pressures for the determination of pressure conditions on specific points in the network

parallel recording of pressure and flow measurements for waterloss analysis (by separating sections of the network in plastic networks)

The integrated PC makes it possible to register the measured values over 3 days. The data can be read on the PC or transferred via email to another PC. A remote diagnosis of correlator measurements is possible by email.

For pre-locating any ground microphone or any listening rod can be connected with an adapter.
